Phew, what a scorcher! Here is the lovely Gem and Steve on their sunny wedding day which I had the pleasure of photographing last week.
Brown suits for the guys, floaty dresses for the bridesmaids and a rustic, gorgeous National Trust property as the wedding venue… what more could you need?
The stunning 17th Century East Riddlesden Hall played host to the couple’s big day with a short but sweet civil ceremony in The Airedale Barn followed by champagne and nibbles on the lawn.
Gemma and Steve were so relaxed during the whole thing it gave the wedding a really nice vibe and when I saw the wild flower meadow in the grounds of the hall, I knew it was the perfect setting for some 70s inspired vintage flower power shots.
Wedding co-ordinator Rachel Rhodes made sure the whole shebang went to schedule – even when she was thrown a curveball in the shape of moving the speeches forward and a missing cake knife – so big thanks to her for all her help during the day.
